MENOPAUSE: TEN THINGS TO KNOW

Healthy Lifestyle

WHAT IS MENOPAUSE?

Menopause is a natural biological process, and although it ends fertility, women can stay healthy, vital, and sexual. Even so, the physical symptoms, such as hot flashes, and emotional symptoms of this may disrupt your sleep, lower your energy, or—for some women–trigger anxiety or feelings of sadness and loss.

Symptoms include:

  • Absence of period for 12 months
  • Hot flashes
  • Night sweats
  • Mood swings and irritability
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Cognitive changes (difficulty remembering names, directions, losing focus/train of thought)
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Vaginal/vulvar itching
  • Generalized itching
  • Bone loss

Once your period has officially stopped, the estrogen levels in your body will gradually decline; also, you will no longer produce another female hormone called progesterone.

Myths and Truths about Menopause

  1. If you started your periods early, menopause will do too.

Studies performed in different countries show that there is no correlation between menarche age and menopause age, but there are numerous reports that relate earlier occurrence to tobacco consumption, living in high places, not eating properly, and having a low weight.

  1. After menopause, the ovaries atrophy and stop producing hormones.

The ovaries do not stop working, although they do atrophy and become smaller. Estrogen and progesterone production are markedly decreased, but the postmenopausal ovary still can produce other steroids.

HOW CAN I MANAGE MENOPAUSE?

Amazonian ritual

Proper diagnosis and care for the female reproductive system is an important way of managing it, but this ancient sunrise ritual is now proven to help manage menopause by 300% times faster and more effectively than even the most high-intensity workouts and strict diets on the planet!

They can also be as simple Scientists from Yale University have discovered that doing this ONE thing in bed every morning immediately after waking up could make all the difference between the menopausal stage.

“The results of individuals we tested who did this each morning were astounding. Even the most critically influenced patient suffering from menopause had a much more improved condition 287% faster than any diet or exercise ever could”, the research team explained.
